Privacy policy

Protecting your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which data we process when you visit our shop and place an order.

2. Hosting and shop system

Our shop runs on the Shopify platform. The provider for customers in Europe is Shopify International Ltd., Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland. Shopify processes on our behalf the data generated when you visit the shop and place an order (e.g. IP address, device and browser information, order data). We have a data processing agreement with Shopify. Data may be transferred to third countries (in particular the USA and Canada); such transfers are based on adequacy decisions or EU standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

3. Orders and contract processing

To process your order, we process your name, address, email address, phone number where applicable, and order and payment information (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To comply with tax and commercial retention obligations, we store this data for up to ten years (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Payment processing

We process payments via Shopify Payments. The data required for payment (e.g. name, billing address, payment details) is transmitted to Shopify and its payment service providers, in particular Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for fraud prevention, additionally Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Shipping

For delivery, we pass your name and delivery address and, where applicable, your email address or phone number to the shipping company we use, insofar as this is necessary for delivery or shipping notifications (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Contacting us

If you write to us by email or via the contact form, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no retention obligations apply.

7. Cookies and consent

We set technically necessary cookies (e.g. for the shopping cart and checkout) on the basis of the applicable rules on the protection of privacy in electronic communications and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We only use other cookies and tracking technologies (e.g. analytics or marketing) with your consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

8. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address exclusively with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) using the double opt-in procedure. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link.

9. Fonts

The fonts used in our shop are loaded locally from our own servers or the Shopify CDN. No connection to Google servers is made for this purpose.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, please contact minimummelshop@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence.

11. Obligation to provide data

Providing the data marked as mandatory at checkout is necessary to conclude the contract. Without this data we cannot process your order.
